Carolyn Scono Shisler
Carolyn absolutely loves what she creates and takes pride in the classic design and quality of each piece that someone will love wearing. Her designs are inspired by creating an extraordinary jewelry piece with hand selected semi precious, natural gemstones, pearls, Swarovski crystals, and unusual beads and findings. Many of her pieces are one of a kind. Jewelry by Carolyn is easy to wear, timeless, and affordable.
She has been designing and creating jewelry since 2003 and applies a variety of silver smith techniques in sterling and copper: chain maille weaving, soldering, wire wrapping and fold forming.
Her jewelry is constantly evolving and fresh. She takes continuing silversmith classes in Oro Valley, AZ; learns new techniques from artists at the Tucson Gem showand at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center.
She participates in local Columbus juried art and craft shows in the fall, makes custom order jewelry, and teaches private jewelry making classes in chain maille weaving and metal wire-wrapping.
Carolyn and her husband, Brad reside in Columbus, Ohio. In their winters, they retreat and refresh in Tucson, Arizona enjoying the easy outdoor lifestyle.
